Guest guest
Hi Lawrence, It's funny how it works, but some of the most 'acidic' foods create lots of calcium deposits in the body that are alkaline. Yes KT is one of them, and so are some citrus fruits. AFAIK though, oranges actually aren't. You can find lists online of all sorts of foods that are more acidic or more alkaline. 2006/11/19, Scholars : > My doctor says that my acid/alkaline is out of balance and that I am too acidic. As KT brews, it gets acidic. Citrus fruits are acidic, yet they metabolize as alkaline in the body. Does anyone know if KT metabolizes as acid or alkaline?? > Thanks!! > Lawrence > >
Guest guest
In several posts from this group I have read that KT metabolizes as alkaline even though it is acidic. The fizz in KT is carbonation, and carbonation is acidic. http://www.newton.dep.anl.gov/askasci/chem00/chem00459.htm Even if the acidic part of the KT metabolizes as alkaline, the fizz part would still metabolize as acidic. How can it be said that KT (particularly fizzy KT) metabolizes as alkaline? Lawrence
