Guest guest Posted August 8, 2001 Report Share Posted August 8, 2001 Just wanted to say thank you to those who posted about getting through a tough workout. I tweaked my knee on the treadmill yesterday, and I almost didn't go do my lower body workout this morning. But, I remembered the posts about just going and doing it even when you don't feel like it, and gave it a shot. It wasn't all that pleasant at first, but my knee eventually warmed up and didn't bother me as much. Then when I left the gym, I was stepping off the curb when there was this big pop and my knee shuddered a bit, and suddenly the pain was gone. I guess I had something out of alignment and the tensing of the muscles during the workout helped to get it popped back in. If I hadn't done the workout, who knows how long it would have bothered me. I ended up getting in a good workout as well as stopping the pain... which is much more than I hoped for when I left this morning. Thanks again for the inspiration...
