I was repulsed/attracted by the Mr. Creosote scene. It could rank up

there with the grossest and funniest in movie history.

I have not signed up to be a donor because I have so many allergies and drug intolerances and my doctor told me that my organs might not be good for somebody else since there can be rejection of the body by the organ as well as rejection of the organ by the body as well as problems for the recipient if they ate or were exposed to something that my body doesn't tolerate well.

Personally I find it gross, because the fine line between never recovering and otherwise can be violated in the heat of the moment when someone desperately wants those organs. The relatives are told their loved ones will never recover and that they can save a life if they consent so the doctors start what they call ,stripping'.

I've heard about that happening and is the reason I'm not signed up to be a donor

> Actually do know of one odd case involving a cadaver. My cousin had a cleaning woman at his funeral home. She was going about the usual routine and she was mopping the floors in the preparation room when there was a body in there on the on the table. She was mopping around the table when she had to stoop down to pick up something off the floor. When she did, the body did one of those rigor mortis twitches and the arm slipped off the table and some air escaped from the lungs in a groan. The hand just happened to land right on the unfortunate woman's shoulder. So there she is in a preparation room with the hand of a groaning corpse on her shoulder. She screamed and ran out of the building. Needless to say she also quite her job.

> I have also heard another story, though I can't remember from where. The scene was this: the disection room at a medical school. The players: medical students, mostly male, and a very attractive lady professor. The fellows thought they would play a joke on her, so they found inspected the cadavers they were to be studying and found the best endowed male. They then cut off that corpse's, how to put this delicately, well, I think you you know what I mean. They then took that member and put it in the professor's lab coat pocket before the came into the room. The students were all snickering while she put on her coat and began the lecture. Before long she put her hands into her pockets, and she stopped talking. She pulled out the severed member and before the laughter could beging she said, "Is one of you gentlemen missing a little something?"

Very good point, Kathy. I also doubt mine would be compatible with the bodies of natives on this planet. ;-)) I'm going to be cremated when it's my time to go.

I tend to be ADHD. I also feel like a type A personality most of the time, and I fit all the diagnostic criteria for bipolar mood swings and circadian rhythm disorders. Alot of people in this forum probably have ADHD.Inger Lorelei wrote:
