It seems that the least expensive starting points are: Category I (HRV Technology) 1. Heartmathstore emWave Personal Stress Reliever (Stand alone) $ 199 2. Heartmathstore emWave Personal Stress Relief System (PC based) $ 299 Category II (EEG only Technology) 3. The Learning Curve Pendant EEG w/ BioExplorer QuickStart $1020 4. The Learning Curve QDS Focus w. BioExplorer QuickStart $1040 Category III (HEG only Technology) 5. The Learning Curve HEG Pendant w/ headset (pIR/nIR)* $1000 Category IV (Both HEG and EEG technology) 6. The Learning Curve Pocket A-3 w/ headset (pIR/nIR)* $1700 *Also requires the purchase of BioExplorer or BioExplorer QuickStart Correct me if I am wrong. Category one seems to be a good “turnkey” system. While not having the same training capability (and complexity) of HEG or EEG technology, the emWave products offers a valuable first-step as well as something that will continue to be useful in the future. Also I saw a product (Alpha-Stim SCS/$495 prescription required) that uses Cranial Electrotherapy. Any comments on the pro/cons of this product compared to the technology above? For sure it is in a different class and level of intrusion.
