Guest guest
I am interested in keeping my account receivables down and wondering about getting a credit card number from patients to use if their insurance is either no longer effective or their visit was a noncovered service. This was briefly mentioned in a FPM article a few months ago. My thought is to make this part of my financial policy and to tell people what the charges would be at the end of their visit so they aren't surprised. I'm trying to not be a bank. Any thoughts? I also appreciate all the great information I have been gathering from the list serve. I have now been open 4 months and am picking up momentum fast here in NYC.
