in regards to almonds ..are you aware that the bee population is in serious trouble?? Its bad news all around for fruit and nuts. and they still don't know why they are just all leaving the hives..a few years ago it was a mite that was threatening them..I suspect some fooling around with the species ,and perhaps something went wrong.AOL now offers free email to everyone. See link below for thepasteurization plan.http://www.almondboard.com/Programs/content.cfm?ItemNumber=890 & snItemNumber=450The FDA, USDA and the California Almond Board has developed amarketing order which mandates that all almonds must be pasteurized. This came about because "two outbreaks of salmonella, associated

But yet noresearch has been performed to see what kind of opportunistic bacteriawill take over when the almond has been sterilized. It is not a wholenatural food anymore. Also demand thatpasteurized almonds be identified as well. It seems that every time agovernment warning is applied to a food, that in itself becomes acertification that that is the food you should eat.It is very clear that the FDA does not understand the origins of themassive immune depression epidemic in America. A sterilized diet makesfor a weakened immune system. FDA websitehttp://www.fda.gov/fdac/features/795_antibio.html explains antibioticresistance quite well, but ignorantly and blindly never mentionspro-biotics which prevent disease and infections. Whole unprocessedliving foods are in this category of foods.Weakened

immune systems are associated directly with cancer, osteoporosis, asthma, allergies, Crohns, IBS, Colitis, GERD, chronicdisease, infections, antibiotic use and resistance and human death, ulcers and the list goes on and on.Raw almonds are a wonder food just as they are. Let consumers make theinformed choice and be responsible for the consequences. The almond farmers do not even know what they havebeen led into by the FDA. This consumer choice option will surelyincrease almond sales.Denial of a choice will be a marketing disaster.Freedom is lost gradually... bit by bit and bite by bite . . . withthe great assistance of passive unconscious in activism and sheepish. You are conscious and aware of this path. Let's fighttoday and send a message. We must have unprocessed food choices. These are the people to contact....please fax, callor email them and demand:1. A true almond label that states

clearly that "almonds have beenpasteurized".2. A second consumer choice label that warns that the "almonds are rawand unprocessed".3. That you will not tolerate the pasteurization of your almonds andhaving them still labeled as a "raw almond". That this is a fraud anda lie.4. Hi everyone,

My name is and I just joined. AFter reading the post below, I

have decided I am really going to like it here. I TOTALLY AGREE!

It's a good thing we can live on practially nothing, because pretty

soon we might have to be teaching the other folks out there how to

survive without their fastfood and frozen meals! Hey, give me a bag

of organic basmati rice and a bag of dried beans and I can cook

supper for the whole neighborhood, lol

Thanks for having me :)

from Oklahoma
