Lee,

a) fuhgetaboudit.

You have a long time frame to work within. Be sure to set up smaller

goals to help you along the way. Just be consistent with however you

measure so you can see changes. The changes are the important part.

Get the measuring tape out too -- this has been FAB for me. Although

I'm bummed about the 1 " loss on my chest...but I digress.

Anyway, I too, got the tart reference. Very dry, nice & subtle.

(geez, sounds like I'm describing a vintage chardonnay).

Actually, I was wondering how you liked it. I haven't heard anything

good or bad about the infrared, only the Tanita scale.

I'd use 2 methods to track a downward trend. Either the calipers or

the infrared and one of the online calculators. I'm using an online

calculator and calipers.

If you want a precise reading, get one, and compare to your calipers,

infrared, and online calculator the same day.
