Guest guest
Good luck with your new office, Kerry. Love the website and the picture of the lake at the top. Also, the picture of the family -- impressive swimming across the lake each year! :-) How are you planning to use appointmentquest? Is it incorporated into your Practice Mgt system at all or are you using it as your stand alone appointment system. Best wishes for a great start. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the good wishes! A friend actually painted that picture for me when I had trouble finding something that I liked for the site. I’m using it for my business cards and office magnets, too. I’m using Amazing Charts for my EMR. It’s cheap ($1000) and user-friendly and works well for a small office. It also integrates with onebox messaging system, which I am using for emailing and faxing, although I haven’t fully figured out the interface…. The main reason I went with AC is that two other docs in my town (one a micropractice) use it and can help me trouble-shoot since I am not a computer whiz. Unfortunately, it’s scheduling doesn’t merge with appointmentquest, so they are separate. So I’m really just using Appointmentquest for scheduling appointments. So far, I really like it and I have gotten great feedback from patients as well. No ties to Amazing Charts, Onebox or Appointmentquest. Thanks again! Guest guest
, I did office version because I wanted to be able to schedule 6 months out. It includes more schedules and personnel than I needed, but I think it is a very reasonable price for patients being able to schedule (and reschedule, if needed) their own appointments and automatic reminder emails. Again, no ties… Kerry From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Locke's in Colorado Sent: Sunday, September 10, 2006 8:33 PM To: Subject: RE: office opening tomorrow Kerry, Which version of Appointmentquest did you go for? Guest guest
I just went on kerry Graff's website and was totally impressed. I opened my new practice 2 mos ago and wish I had followed his model. I graduated residency in Jan, joined a physician in practice for 9 yrs and left 5 mos later. People think I am crazy to go on my own so soon. I just feel I don't think I have to serve another physician for years before I do it myself. Any suggestions?? Guest guest
Kerry- your web site is so together!! If you know that much about your practice before you even open, what will your practice be like in 2 years? I think when I started, I had no clue as to general office policies/management etc., had to learn by doing (and I'm not even sure at this point, almost 2 years out, that I have things as well organized as you...) Nice job! Also love the watercolors. Lynn >
