Guest guest Posted September 18, 2006 Report Share Posted September 18, 2006 For all who are concerned about this new requirement as of April 2007 here is what I have been able to glean. I have not seen one yet but I understand that the only difference is a box for the NPI #. My billing clearinghouse (office ally - FREE to docs) states that they will automatically convert my HCFA to the new one and add my NPI. So it is very easy. I would guess anyone going through a clearinghouse to bill would get the same perk so no sweat.
