Guest guest
Welcome back Sonja! We are here to offer whatever encouragement you need to make it through those 12 weeks, and to offer the occasional kick in the rear too <grin>. Pokes in the eye are Lana's specialty - I advise you to purchase safety glasses. LOL Keep us updated on your progress. What date are you starting this challenge?? Jen B. C4W3D1 > Hey guys!! Guest guest
Welcome back Sonja!! I missed your posts. Now--this time you are going to go all 12 weeks!!! If you want, we can encourage/keep track of each other. Next week will be W12/C2 for me. After possibly a week off, I'll be starting C3, so that will coincide with your start date. C2 got me nowhere--I tried a few cardio tweaks and was eating only 4- 5 meals a day and also cheating a little here and there--thinking it wouldn't hurt. Well, I've been " plateaued " since C1W10 -but hey--I'm still going. After C2, I'm reading the book again and going back to the program BY- THE-BOOK-- 6 meals, hitting 10's and all! Anyway, it's great to have you back. Take care, Donna H.

Guest guest
Sonja, Yep, got the belly pierced. Now I just gotta flatten it so I can show it off, lol! I'm 5'2 " but thanks for saying I don't look short. I'm wearing 8s and 10s right now, so the size 4 is definitely attainable, even tho it will probably be end of 2001 before I get there. I will just be glad when I can say I am wearing 6s and 8s - been stuck in 8s and 10s for several months now. I can't wait until I am solidly in the single-digit sizes too. <grrr> Jen B. > Thanks Jen. Guest guest
Donna: Interesting to hear of your "going back to the book". For those of us just starting, it is a nice reminder that we'll reach our goals most effectively by staying with the program as is. Good luck on C2--and on C3. -- -----Original Message-----From: hmz6@... Guest guest
Hi Sonja, My 2nd grader starts school tomorrow and my almost 4 y.o. starts preschool after Labor Day. Like yours, my 14 month old likes to follow the 4 y.o. too. Where is the time going? I'm in week 7 of C2 and have hit a plateau. But I think I attribute that to not being focused on my goals. However, yesterday I really pushed hard on my UBWO and my chest and back muscles are extremely sore. With my back exercises I'm focused to push because one of my goals is to be able to do at least one pull-up. And during my chest exercises I imagined MP there pushing me and telling me " Be a strong woman! " Hey, whatever works --- " Heinzman, Sonja " wrote: > Oh well, what is up with you and your > progress? Guest guest
What size were you when you started, Jen, and how long did it take you to get into a size 8/10? -----Original Message-----From: Jen B. Guest guest
A tight size 18 (probably more like a 20, but refused to buy them). I bought my first size 8 dress 2 months ago, so it took about 10 months. Like I said, I am wearing both 8s and 10s. Until I get rid of those 10s, I can't really say I'm a " solid " size 8, lol. BTW, I am one of those people who has always yo-yoed - been as small as a size 5/6 and the heaviest I ever got was before BFL. Saw some pics of our family vacay from March 2000. It made me want to cry, even though I look nothing like that anymore. Enough incentive to stick with BFL for LIFE. Guest guest
Thanks, Jen. Sounds like you were in the same boat that I am in. I hope I can do as well as you have done. -----Original Message-----From: Jen B. Guest guest
Nope, don't " hope " . Repeat after me.... " I WILL be successful! " Remember you have to *plan* to be successful. You have to *believe* 100% in your success... 90% of any fitness program is mental. If you can belive it, you can achieve it. Jen B. <stepping down off soapbox> > Thanks, Jen. I have heard a lot of women complain about their bustlines shrinking but it hasn't happened to me (yet). That may be my impediment to fitting into the size I am aiming for. I know, I know, what am I complaining about? I'll shut up now. Jen B.
