I means they have been soaked in hashish water.

Just kidding. It means the pits have been removed.

" destoned " would be more accurate, I guess.

The ones at the store are usually marked

" pitted " which I think should be " unpitted " ...

Really? I thought " stoned " meant the prunes were soaked in brandy!
