what commercial brands are out there

Besides GT's RAW and Small Wonder Drink, what other commercial brands

are out there? where are they sold. and if anyone knows of Brewers in

the Greater Washington DC Metro area please let me know

That was what I thought. That is a darn good reason to

do it yourself. Much, much cheaper. And I can control the

taste by using different teas.

Yes. Herald Tietze, author of many books on Kombucha, says that if you

can't drink enough, you're not getting full benefit. So these high prices

are completely prohibitive to being able to get enough, for me and I

suspect for a lot of people, anyway. In any case, homemade food is

virtually always better than store bought, it's just that

lifestyle/convenience/disability have their own demands. For instance, I

know a woman who has had several bouts of cancer, and she drinks commercial

KT, a bottle a day. It was too overwhelming to her when she tried to brew

and she wasn't successful (that was before I knew her). And, she has the

resources to buy it. So that's why I'm glad it exists. --V
