Guest guest Posted August 30, 2004 Report Share Posted August 30, 2004 : Regarding rewards, I have found with my son that one on one time with mom or dad is the most prized reward. Just time to go for a walk, a bike ride or play cards. Also money works. He likes to " collect " that, and I figure saving money might not be such a bad thing to learn as long as he doesn't cross the line. I like to reward him on the fly a lot too. Not so much as " if you do X, then you'll get Y " but " oh, I like the way you did X, so I think I'm going to give you Y " . When he was younger we did a LOT of sticker charts.
