It will look like a picture of jumbled numbers (hopefully you can see my attachment). This is done to prevent automated "bots" from automatically signing up accounts. If you can sign up, that will make 27 physicians on the Map! If you want your map marker to point right at your location, enter your complete address as the "Location" rather than just the city and state. That will help people actually find you.We're up to 28 on the Map. When the Map becomes "Public" it will be searchable on Google. Member entry will become restricted in that I will screen everyone who wants to be added to the Map (to keep just any doctor from saying he/she is a micropractice doctor). Rochester seems to be over-represented as far as micropractices go. I zoomed in on the map and found your marker, but because you didn't enter your full address in the "Location", it's just pointing to the middle of Rochester. Initially I did put in my full address and for some reason it put my location as Monroe , LA. If you click on my profile it says Lee , Monroe LA. My advice is don't post your personal e-mail or home address/phone number. Just business card stuff. But you're free to put anything you want as long as you don't violate Frappr's terms of service. If you want people to know you collect porcelain ponies, well, that's your business. At the very least, I think you should post your office address and phone number if you want to use this to market your practice. And I know I keep saying this over and over, but if you want your marker to point to your actual office location, enter your address in the "Location" box and not just your city and state. Otherwise the marker will point to the center of Townsville and not 1313 Mockingbird Lane and your patients will complain because they couldn't find your office.They claim that they don't give out your e-mail address to anyone else, and I think that will hold true for a while. But I wouldn't be surprised if they sell the company to Google or Yahoo someday and then watch the Privacy Policy change. Then again, if you're single and looking to network with like-minded individuals, I could see how something like this might work.
