Guest guest
I'm all over that. Just give me a week's notice so I can get the posting!!! I'm in Highland Park or Lincolnshire, depending on whether you mean my actual home or my hotel-home (Hawthorn Suites). That's REAL close to Vernon Hills, in fact, Em and I were playing in the castle playground at Hawthorn Mall yesterday! Two days from now we'll know what illness she picked up there! Heehee! Guest guest
That is funny , because I was also at Hawthorne mall, and was commenting on the castle play ground thing!!! Strange how we could have been there at the same time and not even known it. You are correct, Highland Park is not far from Vernon Hills at all..... about 20 minutes with traffic. I am so excited to actually meet and talk with people in person that aren't medical and aren't going to tell me I am crazy!!! Sincerely, , mom to Dakota 16 1/2 mos. possible CVI (finally learned the abbreviation for what he may have!! )

Guest guest
Hello all! and I have been inpatient at Lutheran General since last Monday August 6th. He wasstill spiking 103 fevers and a second ear culture came back psudamonas and strepso they put him in and started IV atbx- Piperacillen 4 times a day and gentimyacin (sp) 3 times a day- they finally let us come home Saturday- with iv meds- only three times a day- I think I should go back to school and become a nurse- I definately have enough clinical hours administering IV atbx. We were back toLutheran yesterday to have his port needle changed and need to stay on the meds until next Monday- - we see the same docs at LGH- it is so funny what you wrote about Dr. Krieger- she does go off on non related topics and pinning her down is pretty tough! Dr Rosenfeld is great as well. When gets really sick our locan hospital- Delnor stabilizes him and transports by ambulance to LGH. Kim and - what docs do you guys see? Kim- I wrote your # down and will give you a call soon! Maybe we could all start a chapter together- nothing better than team work! Have a good day- I have to go give his infusion , mom to patrick CVID,antibody def, hypogam
Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear that has been sick. Pseudo seems to love ears. I hope that he's feeling better soon and that the antibiotics do their job. Guest guest
Okay, there apparently IS an Illinois chapter. I saw a blurb on the channel 5 news about " bubbe boy " and they interviewed the chapter rep -- the name sounded the same as what I remember calling... maybe there's more than one person with that name and they had the wrong number?? Worth another check anyway. (mom to , age 2, polysaccharide antibody def, IgA def)
Guest guest
Hi - I saw the same segment on NBC- I called and left a message for the Illinois patient contact- Verachtert and have not heard back from her yet. It is too bad that the mom that they interviewed at Children's was not familiar with the controvery over this movie. Oh well nothing we can do about that now. Hope your daughter is feeling better soon. Did you get the message about us getting together with the other Illinois moms? Kim said she would be the go between about setting something up I can certainly learn some tips from Kim as she has been dealing with this for 12 years and we, myself, yourself and have little ones. Hope you have a nice weekend! Hanrahan, mom to CVID,antibody def, etc
