Guest guest
Actually, all I had to do on the “my friends” page was to click on “remove” under the picture and bye-bye Matt. Thanks ! Marty From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Seto Sent: Tuesday, August 01, 2006 9:22 PM To: Subject: Re: Where are all of you practicing IMPs? Yeah, I was bothered by this sudden unwanted appearance of a new " friend " too after I signed up for Frappr. But it turns out he's just a Frappr representative welcoming you to the club. To delete him, go to the " My Frappr " tab at the top of the page, then in the lower right hand corner is a box titled " My Friends " . Click on " Edit " and you should be able to delete him. If you want to, that is. I think Lynn wants to keep him on her list. Thanks to everyone who has signed up so far. We're up to 22 physicians and I want to get up at least 30 before I make the map " Public " and searchable on Google. For those of you who are just getting started in your new practices, this could be useful for marketing to new patients. Guest guest
A work of caution. I zoomed in on my marker and, although I was in the same city, it was placed about 3 miles from my office. I’m guessing they are just using the center of the zip code as the marking point, but I would definitely use mapquest to actually “find” the practices if referring a patient or visiting an IMP friend. Have others found this to be true, or is just my practice that is a bit off? Re: Where are all of you practicing IMPs? Guest guest
Mine was correct (at least at the right intersection... being inside a mall mixes things up for the map finders). > A work of caution. Guest guest
,This happened to me, too. This is because you only entered "Newport News, VA" as your location. If you type in your actual complete address as your location, the marker should point to your actual office location. This applies to anyone else who put an entry on the Map but didn't type in your complete address as the "Location", including: L. Sharon McCoyMoitri SavardMarty Schulman OaksRon Joanne HollandLynn Ho (Your new friend Matt will never find you without an address) CaldwellBrent Hrabik Padma Sripada ChenIn the "Shoutout" section, you can put your phone number, website address, specialty, slogan, photo, astrological sign, favorite poem, whatever.http://www.frappr.com/medicalmicropractices SetoSouth Pasadena, CAA work of caution.
