Guest guest
The Ideal Micro Practice project (www.idealmicropractice.org) has created some media buzz lately (Wall Street Journal 4/19/06, upcoming piece in USA Today - supposed to come out in May). The WSJ piece mentioned Brady (one of our illustrious IMPs in Cohort I) and he got 3700 hits to his web site in two days. So, one way to market a practice is to identify yourself in the mode of an Ideal Micro Practice and site the project and press. Take ' terrific press release for format, change it to include the essential principles of IMPs: Same day access - " I can see you today " (and be sure to point out that this is different from typical practices that make patients justify same day need based on " urgency " ) No needless waiting - " I can see you on time " Continuity - care is not just visits, I'm there for you 24/7 (with occasional back-up) High quality - we use computers and modern technology to deliver reliable care based on the latest medical evidence Write something along the lines of " Dr. Malm's practice is part of an emerging trend of medical innovators. The practice adheres to the highest principles of the Ideal Micro Practice movement as described in WSJ..... " Gordon At 11:22 PM 4/20/2006, you wrote: >Cool website, very soothing and inviting.
