Guest guest
Mark, What do F7 and P3 and/or T5 look like? Is he clearly dominant on one side or the other, or does he have mixed dominance (some tasks done with left hand, others with right?) Pete I'm seeking protocol suggestions for a kid with spelling difficulties. He has done 20 sessions of NF and is calmer, sleeping better and concentrating better. He has mostly benefited from right temporal/parietal training. His mother reports that the speech therapist says he has a type of dyslexia due to auditory processing difficulties. Guest guest
Mark- Look to the left! Also look at Beta / Alpha reversals between sides. Your training of Right Temp and Parietal used what training paradigm to get the good results with sleep and concentration? Thanks, Spelling difficulties Hi everyone, I’m seeking protocol suggestions for a kid with spelling difficulties. Guest guest
Hi , 2C windowed squash with a 10-15 Hz window. This was EO to help him block the slow alpha. Frontal stuff didn’t work as well. Guest guest
Pete, I didn’t do F7 or T5. There is a general elevation of theta/beta power ratios that peak at about 7:1 at F3 and are about 5:1 at P3. Interestingly, 8-10 Hz amplitude peak (by far) is at P3 EC. It drops well EO, but does come up again somewhat in the task condition. Mark Re: Spelling difficulties Mark, What do F7 and P3 and/or T5 look like? Guest guest
Mark, F7, CP5 and T5 are the three areas involved in language output and spelling. Broca's area, Wernicke's area and (T5) the site which allows us to make the transition from seeing letters to seeing words, reading words and spelling words. Try training to change whatever looks unusual there (certainly the rising alpha and theta). Pete Pete, I didn't do F7 or T5.
