Guest guest
I use Novastar through CostCo; the minimum per month is 20.00 total. Greetings, I was looking for a credit card processing machine and came across this product. Thought I would ask the group if anyone has had any experience with this? No financial interest in Linkpoint. Thanks, a Kollmeier, MD San Diego, CA
Guest guest
We bought a machine off the internet. There are several name brands. You can buy on used. The company that you would use will program the machine for you. It has been very helpful for us to collect copays etc. We have two different doctors so ours will do several companies and deposit the amount directly in each doctors account. They also do a check link for us so we do not have to run down bad checks. That was a hassle when we first started out. I would be checking with several small business owners in your area will point you in the right direction when it comes to credit card machines. Guest guest
I'm just starting to look at credit card machines and what-not too, so your post was well-timed for me a. Unfortuntately I don't have info about Linkpoint -- website looked reasonable, though I wish more details were there rather than a request for info option. - do you have a specific link to Novastar/CostCo? I wasn't able to find anything specific for credit card processing through Google. Guest guest
Credit card processing is a major money making scam. I was able to purchase a new fully functional machine on e-bay for $ 160- . With my merchant services provider I would have paid that in about 6 months of renting. In fact I purchased most of what I needed on e-bay and saved myself thousands of dollars. A gorgeous exam table for $225, a great colposcope for $ 250 (Which was paid off by doing one procedure for $350), etc. I've realized that one reason healthcare is so outrageously expensive are all the suppliers who have easy consumers in doctor's offices and hospitals. Good luck. Maggie Guinn wrote: I use Novastar through CostCo; the minimum per month is 20.00 total. Greetings,I was looking for a credit card processing machine and came across this product. Guest guest
The appeal of Linkpoint for me would be that you don't have to swipe the card so don't need a machine. You enter the patient's card information securely online to process. I have to compare their fees with other processors... a > > > >> Greetings, > >> > >> I was looking for a credit card processing machine and came across > >> this product. Guest guest
Why don't you just open a paypal account (business) ? > The appeal of Linkpoint for me would be that you don't have to > swipe the card so don't need a machine. Guest guest
It's the credit card vendor service available for Costco company business members. call the CostCo in your area to find them. .. . I'm not a strong advocate, per se, but wanted to point out that the minimum charge of $35.00 per month on Linkpoint was a little high. I'm just starting to look at credit card machines and what-not too, so your post was well-timed for me a. Guest guest
Entering the cards regularly is a major pain. I have a swipe that only works for half the cards and I appreciate the swipe alot. The appeal of Linkpoint for me would be that you don't have to swipe the card so don't need a machine. Guest guest
Oh, thanks for clarifying. I just realized how obvious that was. But Costco did not register in my head because we don't have any in New York. I've only heard of the store. Guest guest
I know of at least 2 in New York, but maybe not near you. There is one right before Nyack and one in Brooklyn. There are also BJs and Sam's Clubs which are similar. I use quickbooks for credit cards. They also have a new credit card only version so you don't have to purchase a full quickbooks. It is great."
