This morning I was reading an article in oxygen about this woman who made

this great transformation into a body builder from a not so great shape.

Well, I looked at her stats.. she was ... no less than 60 pounds *lighter*

than me (yes I never said I was skinny) and you know what.. her before

measurements were around the same as mine!!!!! I was down right shocked at

this. I guess it suggests to me that I'm a hell of alot more packed than I

thought I was... or... she was extremely flabby... or both.

maybe thats why my first challenge results were only a moderate success...

because maybe all the easy work was already done (I was in weight watchers

for 2 years).

Having said that..... I know i'm not supposed to weigh, but I could really

feel like I had lost so I weighed myself.. I've lost 6# this week!! (I also

measured my waist... smallest it's been since I started losing weight 3

years ago :)

I'm so excited.. it's about time this stuff started working (I'd about given

up). I feel like I've made more gains (and losses) in this past week than I

have in the whole last challenge.

I think alot of it has to do with my mental attitude coming back.... I red

the book *again* (4th time) and answered all the questions.. and WROTE THEM

DOWN! Printed off all my goals and my reasons for doing BFL and have been

reading them as much as possible.

I even made a weight loss chart like some sort of nerdy engineer or

something *smiles*. I charted out what I want to accomplish in the next 12

weeks. I'll chart the actual accomplishments and see how they compare. My

goals for next challenge aren't huge, the are very moderate... I don't want

to be let down. If I accomplish *more* then great.

I'd like to:

gain 2 pounds of muscle

Lose 18 pounds of fat (approximately 5# a month loss)

Lose 17 inches from bust, arm, thigh, waist, hips, calves (approximately 1 "

per pound)

Lose a couple pant sizes.... I'd be so thrilled with this!

Bench press 90# for 6 reps. (I want to go up 5# approximately every 2

weeks.... I'm at 70# now).

Do six unassisted pull ups (not sure that one's gonna happen but it'd be

great if it did! I need my husband to fix my pull up bar!)

I'm rambling!
