Have any of you had children, has anyone hadepsiotomies and if so, how do you feel about them?

again without being there and knowing the whole situation I can't comment on the medical side much. Our doctors in general don't appear unless we call them d/t lack of progress or time to have a baby they don't hang around for the pushing.

I have had 4 children 3 vaginal with episiotomies and the 4th one c-section d/t breech. Mind you I was 20 with the 1st, 22 with the 2nd and 23 with the third and had pretty quick easy unmedicated labors then I was 36 with the 4th and from my own experience I would rather have a vaginal delivery with a tear then ever have another c-section...The abdominal pain after the c-section was awful for me for months and I don't think I could enjoy my baby near as much. It made moving harder, breastfeeding was harder because I couldn't hold him across my abd without pain. I don't know if I would have done better with a c-section had I been younger but I need my gallbladder out now and am putting that off just because I don't want more surgery and I think I have a high pain tolerance after having 3 with nothing and also having been hit by a car and having a broken leg and arm and being in a body cast 6 weeks....I would take the car over a c-section everyday...
