Cholecystectomy in mid trimester pregnancy

Need help finding some good references/articles on the risks vs benefits of surgery at 24 weeks. Client in the hospital since Sat. night on antibiotics and narcotics for pain and showing no improvement. No known prior episodes. OB/GYN consult says no to surgery while surgeon says the opposite. Ultrasound shows very inflamed gallbladder. I do not know her white count.
