Guest guest Posted December 26, 2006 Report Share Posted December 26, 2006 Dear One, You have t use either acidic brewed Kombucha Tea, distilled white vinegar or apple cider vinegar that has been brought to a boil for starter. Otherwise, you are almost sure to get mold and have to throw everything out and start over. If you have only one culture to brew with, before you start, it might be best to cut it in two pieces and save half to use next time in case you got mold. Blessings on you all. LOve. MArge.
