Guest guest
Wow, I can't believe how different brews can be!!! I used to make Kombucha years ago and am just starting again. I recieved ty beautiful scoby a couple of months ago. The first batch I made with black, white, green and an earl gray thrown in turned out wonderful...but turned to vinegar before I consumed it all. Will start bottling! I decided to make a batch with batch with the black, white, and green and half with the Rooibos tea. It got sweeter and sweeter....ich. Threw it all out and am using the the scoby for skin. Now, I am brewing a batch with black, white and green. The scoby is from the nice first brew...I had put the baby to the side for a friend. It is soooo sweet and yucky. I keep letting it go a couple of days longer and it is a little fizzy, vinegary and VERY sweet! I use 1 1/3 cup of white sugar as always. Any ideas???? Thanks, Judy
