Tell the emergency room doctor you are despartely in pain and that he/she must call your neuro doc and/or rheumatologist immediately and get them to work together to give you the pain relief you need. Demand help for the pain now. If you have true migraines, Darvon will not work for the pain. Ask the emergency room doc for a shot of Imitrex or Zomig, or whatever the ER protocol is, which will hopefully stop the migraine in its tracks.
