Subject: where can I get medicinal herbs?

I have been on this list for a while and enjoy all the info as we are

still fairly new to Minnesota. I am looking for medicinal herbs. I have googled

it but come up with powders and liquids and such. I am looking for the dried

herbs. I make our medicine myself but could not bring all my herbs into the US.

My kids are seldom sick, but I need some herbs for the usual things like flu,

cough, etc. I am looking for things like Boneset, Yarrow, Elder Flowers,

Meadowsweet, etc....but all of that as dried leaves.....help?! :-)

Subject: This just in.... Local Holistic Healers at the Warehouse.....

This Sunday! Here's the specifics from Life Coach Lynskey..... .

Just a reminder that our Healer Expo is this Sunday! Come join us for a fabulous

line-up of healers, three free presentations and homemade soup!

How it works:

Stop by for free, connect with healers and listen to presentations such as " The

Role of Whole Foods in Brain Wellness " with licensed nutritionist

Swigart. Or buy a three-healer pass for just $25 and get three different

15-minute healing sessions! You could get a massage, discuss a nagging health

concern with a nutritionist and move forward on that issue you've been stuck

around with a life coach! Choose between twelve different healers of numerous

modalities: acupuncture, massage, herbalism, nutrition, BodyTalk, energy

healing, life coaching, astrology, chiropractic, homeopathy and essential oil

therapy. Also available: one mini-session for $10. And get a big bowl of

homemade soup from Chef Mark Eggen for $5.

Limited number of three-healer passes available, so reserve yours on-line now.

(Note: Most healing sessions available in healing block 1, from 12:00-1:30 or

healing block two from 3:30-5:00. )

February 7 from 11:30 AM-5:00 PM at Traditional Foods Minnesota in South

Minneapolis. Registration and healer sign up sheets available at 11:00 AM. For

I've recently had the privilege of working with Wood, a nationally known

herbalist and good friend of Will's. He partners with Farm to sell the

BEST herbs on the market. Please visit 's website, matthewwoodherbs.com

or walkerherbs.com

Enjoy the snowy day!
