Guest guest
Dear a, (Kombucha Lore._ Do you mean whip it in a blender? It probably would work, but why would you want to muss it up that way? Some people in the past on this Beloved List have whipped their scobies until it looked like apple sauce and eaten it. That doesn't appeal to me, but they thought it was very healthful. I wanted more than once to whip my scobies and make skin cream by adding glycerine, rose water and vitamin E cream to the mix. But i feared burning out my blender and, perhaps, hurting the scoby unnecessarily. Now, I know most FERMENTERS won't agree. O. I wish I could still say BREWERS. Whimper. Whimper. I know that it's not logical, but I defer to my scobies. I don't use hot water to wash their little ooglies down into the waters of land. I feel they are all still alive out there somewhere forever. Blessings on you all. LOve. MArge.
