I wonder about your heating pad. Is it hot enough to cook the mommas?

Also, for 3/4 gallon, why not try seven black tea bags and 1 and 1/2 cups of

sugar, and just brew without the heating pad?

Some say that even ff your house is quite cool, you will eventually get Kombucha

Tea.

Somehow, mine brew now our here in the living room on a coffee table under

another small table at whatever room temperature is in the house.

However, I do set my thermostat high, but my house quite drafty.
