Guest guest
Dear Parents I really need your advice and ideas:the other day when I was spreading some cream on my sons thighs on his left thigh i could feel like he had a little lump, like a little hard ball and I think it is where he had his injection.( MMR vaccination).Shall I worry? Guest guest
I have read in the medical literature that this is considered a not uncommon outcome, generally the lump is transitory. Perfectly acceptable to them, of course, as are all responses to a vax--seizures, vomiting, fever, etc. I read a vaccination book in the parent's centre in Canada and it categorically stated that even seizures following vaccination were NOT a reason to stop vaxes. I'm sorry I wouldn't have a clue what to do about it other than consider that the MMR is likely highly implicated in your son's problems. Having your GP look at it might get it into your son's medical file.
