Guest guest Posted October 25, 2004 Report Share Posted October 25, 2004 I am talking to Betsy and she is doing well. Her computer has crashed which is why we have not heard from her. She had sutures removed today. They had to open her DS incision to get to the hernia as it was bad. She no longer has a belly button ! The doc said if Betsy would of kept the belly button that she would get more hernia's ...so it was definitely an umbilical hernia. The PS did all the repairs. She is now held together with zerofoam on the outside. She was surprised that the sutures came out today....she was only expecting the drains out today. She sounds great on the phone ! She can walk straight up with no trouble. She is wearing her binder, surgical bra and everything she has been told. She has the T-shape incision.
