You have no idea how wonderful it is and so refreshing to be with like-minded people. I have been raked over the coals on the small rancher group because those people (who obviously have all the money in the world) believe it is BETTER that they have laws against people selling (or having cow share programs for) raw milk. They actually believe that because they have a license it makes them better and because they have Grade A dairies, their milk is cleaner and better for people. Then they say there's no reason we all can't get a license. I pointed out that it takes a hoard of money to build a dairy. So one of them actually said you can do it yourself. You don't need to hire people for as little as $20,000 like that's just a stone's throw from a 10 dollar bill. Yeah right. I'm a 57 year old, disabled woman. Can you see me pouring concrete and building, from the ground up, a grad A dairy? I had to really laugh at that one. Must be nice to be healthy and rich.

I would guess that most of these people sell to the big dairies for better money then selling to people and their milk gets dramatically corrupted. I can't tell you how close-minded these people are and how totally aggravated I have become with them. They are self righteous and self serving and could care less about what people want to drink, where they want to get it and all because THEY HAVE A LICENSE TO SELL MILK. Then claim that anyone that doesn't have a license is selling "crap" and that it has TB and brucellosis in it. Can you believe this?

It's good to be here where people who really care about what they produce and are careful and provide a good clean product for others to enjoy, with or without a license.

Welcome to a group that appreciates what you want, where you want to buy it and enjoys what you will be able to. I'm sure you will find someone here or get a referral for the raw milk you wish to consume.

Can you all tell I'm just a bit worked up? OK, I'll calm down now (LOL).

Hi there;I am Lee and I live in Cabool, MO which is in Texas County. Raw milk salesin MO is only on site at the dairy, unfortunately. I grew up mostly onfarmsand drank only raw milk, ate my eggs sunny side up and my beef rare. Amazingly I lived long enough to retire and move to southern MO and justbought a small acreage. I haven't been here long enough to scope out the local dairies. I have beentoying with the idea of getting a mini milk cow now that I have room andtime. Until I decide, I am looking for a source of milk, butter and yogurt.I get a little aggravated that the government is telling us what we can andcannot drink or eat. If they had our best interest at heart it would be onething but it is a matter of control, not health.
