Guest guest Posted January 31, 2005 Report Share Posted January 31, 2005 For milk to be true, the animals must be free of antibiotics, hormones, steroids, and ear tags impregnated with toxic insecticides and worm dips because the toxic antibiotics, estrogen-based growth hormones, and poisonous pesticides go right into the milk, either in their original form or as conjugates that the animals body made responding to the drugs and poisons. Once toxins are in the milk, they're in you, if you drink the milk. Commercial milk is not tested for conjugates or derivatives of these toxic drugs and poisons, nor is their role in disease processes understood. It's a " stone unturned " because the facts would probably show how these metabolites could be linked to cancer, arthritis and chronic disease. The dairy industry has bread cows with enlarged pituitary glands so they produce 300% more milk than their predecessors. But these cows are not healthy enough to survive without antibiotics in their feed. Their milk, while excelling in quantity fails in quality.
