Hi , shouldn't you let the doc know this has happened? I

don't know alot about these kind os surgeries. Is this a common

occurance?

I called and they said to leave it open and let it drain. There is too much

drainage to bandage it, so I'm wearing a clean towel in my shirt. I figure it

was a seroma and when they removed the staples then rewrapped the arms the

pressure cause it to spring a leak. The other arm is swollen and I think the

other

arm might be ready to leak. Funny thing was the doc thought it was just

swelling and not a pocket. I had no clue either and would have been less

surprised

if it had been the right one as it has been more swollen. Dr. Core said that

arms tended to swell.

Thanks for the update Mel - I'd been thinking about you. Sounds like

a seroma to me - when the one on my belly burst open it was an

incredible gush and volume. For me it felt better and began healing

better after the gush. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
