Wilderness Family Naturals sells a supergreens powder that's pretty potent.

It's made from whole foods, not extracts. An excellent deal if you wait for

one of their 10-15% off sales and buy the 5# bag. Very reasonable shipping

charges and a great family to support (almost lost everything when the FDA

hammered on them.)

Never really used anything from Garden of Life that was worth much more than

it's weight in the plastic container it comes in, personally. Goatein is ok,

but they add a nasty fruit concentrate sweetener and the formula is very

" chalky. " If you can find a way to disguise those two unappetizing factors

in a smoothie or something, go for it.

Sun Warrior Protein has a surprising amount of glutathione in it considering

the source. Taste and appeal is not so great, but I guess the same goes with

the Goatein in terms of getting it down the food tube somehow.

Going to officially vouch for only two sources of whey protein that I

believe are worth the investment. I've looked high and low for the best of

the best and these are the only two I trust. Part of the reason is they are

100% whey and nothing else: no stevia, no yellow #5, nothing but pure whey.

The other part is that both are primary proteins, which means they come from

raw, whole milk and not from the whey run off from the cheese tank. In

addition, both are processed to maintain the integrity of all the good stuff

whey should have in addition to protein: lactoferrin, serum albumin, and

other bio-factors found in raw milk from a healthy cow that eats it's native

diet of grass.

Designs For Health Whey Cool (plain)

Nutriharmony Ion-Exchange Whey

DFH Whey Cool is a concentrate. It has sort of a " cheesy " taste and texture.

Not the easiest to mix with something like whole milk, so you almost need to

blend it a little. Still works very well for a high quality whey source.

NH Whey is an isolate. Whey isolates have more of a " milky " taste and NH's

taste is almost to good to be true. [think: vanilla cake mix]. It mixes up

with milk very well. I've referred a lot of people to it and have never once

heard a complaint on the taste, most fall in love instantly.

Both are MLM companies. Nutriharmony is available to purchase by anyone off

the street, DFH is only through health-care professionals that rep their

products.

If anyone has other sources of something of this quality, I'd love to hear

about them!!
