Guest guest
Hi, My daughters have some things they want to try selling at the warehouse on the " April Fools " farmers market day. What procedure do we need to go through to do this? We are current members. Do we need to call a certain person? Thanks for any help. Guest guest
Thanks Sheri, now THAT'S a great message! We strongly encourage everyone to get involved with this great community project! Having members become vendors is a true dream of our LOCAVORE fun and a sweet extension of our Mission Statement. We do have a strict protocol for entry onto the shelves. Everything we sell there must meet our standards for SAFETY, WHOLESOMENESS, " TRADITIONAL " , GOOD VALUE, LOCAL SOURCING, HUMANE-REARING, SUSTAINABILITY and ARTISANAL CHARACTER. It's a big job but members trust that we have done this screening, something that makes shopping more fun, more safe, more smart! It's really been fun being an INCUBATOR for small business concepts. We have numerous examples of vendors who have started with a tiny basket of food products and then turned into sales of hundreds of dollars per week or month. We are currently adding 3-5 new memberships a day, probably 10-12 new products a week and 1-2 new vendors every month. People who haven't been there in a while are truly shocked at the increase in quality and increase in options! Just wait....SPRING is here and SUMMER is coming! Send me an email at holistic@... or REBEKAH at ginger918@... for working out the details of becoming a vendor on April Foods Day, April 3rd.
