Guest guest
> when hub brings in choc or licorice, I eat it, I sure do! > --------------------- Check out real licorice on the Internet. I looked through some of my husband's books and discovered that real licorice has several different types of steroids in it. About 11, if I remember correctly. I do think that is what nature was created for, to give us what we needed in the correct doses. When my son went into the Navy, I was warned by some of the lab techs where I was a volunteer, to tell him not to eat licorice. Not to eat any of his beloved poppy seed rolls. Not to take any pain killer except aspirin, because one or more of the usual ones gave a false positive tests for Marijuana. Lots of stuff in real food that will surprise you. Some good, some might be bad. Some of which the jury is still out on. Pat in CA
Guest guest
Hi EveryOne, Although very interesting, it is time to take this thread off this list and perhaps move it to the KT off topic list... http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/KToff-topic/ or the To Your Health List.... http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/To-Your-Health/ Please also remember to label your off-topic posts to the list with [OT] in the subject line so that those folks who only want to read about Kombucha can skip the off topic posts.
