Guest guest
I played a CD a few days ago. In it was a small part about coffee. A man drank one cup of coffee and his frequency went way down. It took three days for his frequency to come back up. When a bodies frequency is lowered sickness and dieses can become a problem. If you do take coffee for any reason you might want to do something to bring your frequency back up sooner than three days. Guest guest
Interesting question and I would lean more towards it being a detox tool. The reason I'm thinking this is that they use coffee enemas at The Gerson Institute for cancer therapy. I've never done one though. I would think that you would be absorbing caffiene so not sure how you feel about a caffinated baby:) Taiha Wagner > > I have been reading a little bit about coffee enemas. > > http://coffee-enemas.blogspot.com/ > > Has anybody ever done one? > > It is for detoxification... would that affect anything with the fact that I am nursing a baby? > > Please... discuss. >

Guest guest
I've always heard that you should not detox while pregnant or nursing to avoid getting excess toxins into the baby. Kate B

Guest guest
I'm in the same boat as you, Alison - with the same questions. I am curious to hear about any personal experiences with coffee enemas. What you noticed, results, thoughts, etc. a > > Please... discuss. >

Guest guest
I've heard the same thing about not detoxing while nursing or pregnant. This is why a lot of people don't drink kombucha unless they were already drinking it prior to pregnancy or nursing. But what about sweating? I am detoxing a TON right now (I'm a nursing mother) through yoga classes where I sweat so much that it feels like I took a shower in my own sweat. Does this mean that my milk is getting full of toxins? I'm honestly just curious. www.livesimplybloomwildly.blogspot.com

Guest guest
i am wondering if it isn't that the caffeine stimulates your colon so it's just an enema but with even more stimulation?

Guest guest
Hey Homeopaths, if coffee's off limits to drink while on a remedy, would it also be off limits in the other end? I imagine Don is referring to one's energetic frequency, and not how often one uses the toilet. " Oh a new euphemism for what laxatives do for us " was my first thought, but then I remember reading elsewhere that coffee and certain other substances are believed by some to bring one's energetic body (as one's aura, or subtle body) down to a slower vibration, which isn't considered a good thing. ~Joe
Guest guest
From memory, the reason people use coffee is because coffee stimulates the liver, which apparently is connected directly to the blood vessels in the lower portion of the large intestine. The toxic by-products excreted in the blood while the waste is in the large intestine go straight to the liver for cleansing before that blood goes to the rest of the body. Really cool system if you think about it. So, coffee supposedly cleans the liver in that way. Drinking caffeine apparently has the same affect on your bowels just in reverse when you drink it. So, take it for what it's worth, the stuff in your colon is going to come out on it's own on a regular basis if you eat a healthy diet. If it's not, fix your diet. If you want to clean your liver, I suggest gentler, less creepy and certainly less invasive methods. (you can perforate your bowels if you do an enema wrong) There's plenty of herbs and foods you can use to do liver cleanses. and of course other cleanses, the list goes on. Guest guest
Coffee enemas are a lifesaver for those of us (me included in this) whose bowels are almost completely non functioning. Even alternating between a raw diet and juice fasts doesn't do the trick for me. You gotta do what you gotta do! And I don't think much caffeine is absorbed. I do my enema right before bedtime and zonk right out. Candace " The person who says it cannot be done should not interrupt the person doing it. Guest guest
Yes, detoxing during pregnancy is not recommended - when you detox those toxins are going somewhere, - anywhere, really and possibly even being re-absorbed back into your blood stream if you don't have a good way to release them. - it's best to detox prior to conception. in regards to the enemas and the liver - the Liver is the #1 way your body detoxifies - it's like a big filter - but over time it can get clogged and full and start to break down - the amazing thing about the liver tho is that it can regenerate and heal itself given the right circumstances. Gerson pointed to Liver failure as the number 1 cause of cancer. - according to him All cancer is a result of some level of liver failure. What the coffee enemas do is stimulate the liver to release those stored toxins. - I don't know how or why but when the coffee is held up there for 15 minutes it allows the blood to do a full circulation and ultimately stimulates bile secretion and prompts the liver to start releasing what could be decades of stored toxins - most of these toxins will end up being flushed down the toilet but some can come out through sweat. On the Gerson therapy a patient will do a coffee enema at least once a day to every other day. the other thing he discovered was the pain-relieving effect - detoxing can be quite painful for some and the enemas help relieve this effect. I have read his books and watched all the DVDs and also try to follow a lot of the diet he recommended - I've also C.E.'s on a number of occasions. -J > > I've always heard that you should not detox while pregnant or nursing to > avoid getting excess toxins into the baby. > > Kate B > > > >
