Hi All-    I need a little help here. I have been seeing this little girl for a bit now.  Concerns are that she is not interested or eating solid foods yet- after 1st visit and dose of pulsatilla- patient improved in regards to interest in food. Currently has some beans, egg, and 2 other foods in her diet at very SMALL portions.  Usually shows NO interest in food- understands it- ie will try to feed mom and dad but refuses it when offered to her and barely feeds herself. She is small but steady on the growth chart. Other- in the past two months she has become constipated- we took her off of egg and nuts in case of a sensitivity but it didn't help. Currently- BM every other day and not painful ( they were every 3-4 days and very painful for her).  Sleep- very disturbed- wakes every 45-60 minutes- I assume that increasing solids would help here.

Mood- great, improved with pulsatilla dose      Nails-  has occasional peeling of nails in past- no signs of fungal infection etc. wondering if it is a mineral deficiency. Mom is not comfortable with holding breast milk or creating a feeding schedule. Child obviously has a strong personality and there will be no 'forcing' her to do something before she is ready.

Any thoughts about this?  I am toying with adding a liquid vit to her diet- if she would take it, but the issue is more why she won't take solid food.       Thanks for any insight!Kathleen Pratt ND
