Guest guest
I received a post recently via the local Women Who Really Cook site, offering a class through Callister Farm. Lori Callister has given me permission to also post it here, as I thought many may be interested. The class is for any of us wishing to learn how to process a chicken, from start to finish. Every participant will receive their own chicken, and will receive instructions as well as personal guidance during the class. Cost for the class is: $40.00. The class is being held at their farm, on Saturday, June 8th, from 3-6 p.m., or on Sunday, June 13, from 2-5 p.m.. Humane and sanitary standards will be maintained. Contact for the class: callisterfarm@.... I think the concept is exactly right, for those of us who choose to eat animals, although personally, I don't feel strong enough to face it. Makes sense that we should be able to kill/process an animal if we're going to eat it. Sounds like an amazing opportunity. Rebekah
