Guest guest
I had read where Chinese monks who drank water from a wall where goji berries grew had beautiful hands & facial skin. I've JUST now gotten 'accustomed' to the flavor of them and now enjoy them, in fact I eat a handful in the morning while drinking my KT before breakfast so I was considering doing the same thing but just with goji berries though. Did you flavor yours with fresh goji berries or dried ones such as the raisins? > > Just bottled some tea with raisins and goji berries tonight. I have never seen them, although perhaps in areas with Chinese/Asian grocery stores they might come in. I think they are traditionally dried before using, though. --V ~~~ There is no way to peace; peace is the way ~~~~ --A.J. Muste

Guest guest
I was planning to plant my own goji berries too! :-) Last time I had looked, they were out of stock. I want to grow my own lychee fruit tree too but I don't know how they would do in Dallas... > > > > > > >I used dried goji berries. > > >joe > > > > I don't think fresh ones are readily available.< > you can buy the plants and grow your own from Jung seed catalog, I > ordered 2 plants, hoping they will do well! > Pam >
Guest guest
hello all, I read somewhere that Goji berries are very perishable and that they have to be picked without touching our skin or else they turn brown rapidly. They must pick them with gloves on. All the Goji berries I have seen so far have been dried but have a wonderful flavor when used in juices or eaten from the bag. ttfn, Rae in Idaho ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ We won't tell. Guest guest
Thanks for noting that, I had not read that. Very interesting. I wonder how you eat them or if they have to be eaten dried? -- In original_kombucha , SweetEvil Woman wrote: > > hello all, > I read somewhere that Goji berries are very perishable > and that they have to be picked without touching our > skin or else they turn brown rapidly.
