Hello everyone, I am

writing to ask for any insights and suggested lines of treatment for this

patient:

My patient

is a 66 year old female with an inoperable retroperitoneal liposarcoma. She was first diagnosed with a sarcoma 14

years ago, and has dealt with recurrences ever since. She has had 7 surgeries over the years to

remove past growths, the last of which was in 2009. She has had a nephrectomy (left),

adrenalectomy (left), splenectomy, partial gastrectomy, and partial

pancreatectomy (which induced insulin-dependent diabetes). She is also hypothyroid (medicated), and has

history of subsequent irregular heartbeat.

Medications include: Digoxin,

Viokase 8 (pancreatic enzymes with meals), L-thyroxine, warfarin, flecainide,

nexium, lorazepam, alprazolam, and bupropion.

I have been working with her since April 2011. Treatments were gradually worked up to the

following:

·

Modified

Citrus Pectin: 15 g tid cc

·

Active

Hexose Correlated Compound: 500mg tid ac

·

Curcumin

(Curcumin-95 by AOR): currently at 11.2g

qd in divided doses, cc

·

Ascenta

NutraSea Fish oil capsules: 4 cap qd cc,

providing 1500mg omega-3: 750mg EPA, and

500mg DHA.

·

billion CFU)

·

Vitamin

D3: 2000IU qd cc

pancreatic enzymes qd ac, in divided doses

·

Homeopathically: original a single dose of Nat Mur 200CH;

x-ray 12CH qd for a few weeks; Plussing of Thuja and Silica. Plussing again with Thuja, and soon to come,

Carcinosin all at 200CH.

·

Various

UNDA drainage combinations over the months

·

Daily

castor oil packs, dry skin brushing, deep breathing

·

Dietary

work: avoidance of alcohol, sugar,

gluten, dairy, red meat, fried foods, peanuts; emphasis on vegetables, olive

oil, green tea, raspberries, flax seeds, low glycemic. All with excellent compliance.

·

Work

with guided imagery and prayer.

·

INR

tested regularly as we increased supplements

Remarkably,

blood sugar has gradually improved over the months to the point that she has

not used insulin in the past month.

Evening blood sugar levels are averaging 9-10. However, MD advised against injecting

insulin in the evening after two night-time hypoglycaemic episodes. Morning blood sugar readings are in normal

range.

Two recent

episodes of irregular heart beat has prompted her MD to increase Flecainide

dose. Recent EKG was normal. TSH was 7.23 and Free T4 was 18.4.

CT scan of

November 1, 2011 shows increase in the size of the mass. To quote the report: “The large partially fat density mass in the

abdomen has increased further in size.

On the axial images, the maximum cross-sectional measurements are 18.6 x

9.4 cm, compared with 14.9 x 7.8 cm at the same level on May 2. The large central solid component measures 11

x 7.5 cm compared with 7.5 x 5.8 cm, the more inferior portion within the

omentum measures 17.3 x 5.2 cm compared with 11.4 x 5.6 cm and the retrocrural

component measures 7.2 x 4.7 cm compared with 6.9 x 4.4 cm. There is otherwise no change from the

previous exam.â€

Any and all

comments, suggestions, and questions are welcome. Thank you all for your help and your time.
