Barry will also have 500 plants from his 70+ varieties of Heirloom tomato plants and 8 hybrid varieties. We have everything from cherry varieties to the two pound varieties. We have red, yellow, black, pink, purple and brown varieties. This year his plants come in 4 " , 6 " plantable fiber pots (so you don't have to disturb the roots) and gallon plastic pots. 4 " pots are $3 each or 4 for $10 6 " pots are $4 each or 3 for $10 gallon pots are $6 each or 2 for $10 We are also working on getting a chicken farmer there. Mark MAY 9TH on your calendar, it's the 1st Annual BACON FEST. From 9am-4pm we will be serving up massive quantities of our natural bacon, breakfast entrees, juicy Thousand Hills bacon burgers, BLTs, and more. You can listen to quality entertainment and tour the warehouse while you shop. The event begins at 9 am and goes until 4 pm. It's the first of our celebrations for having survived the long, dark, cruel winter and for launching our first real season of providing an ever increasing array of FARM FRESH FOOD! Coinciding with the event, we are making a SPECIAL OFFERING of LUCKY PIG PORK BOXES. The boxes are 20#, 30#, 50# and 100# and the price per pound is as low as $3.25# (for the larger boxes stuffed with PORK CHOPS, HAM, BACON, SAUSAGE, ROASTS, STEAKS and other cuts). YUM! Pick-up is at the Traditional Foods Warehouse/Buying Club on or before May 9th, and we can arrange to give you a drop site if you prefer.
