Guest guest
Hi colleagues, Bear with me - my question needs some pre empting of patient history. 16 yo female that I've been treating since winter 2010 -chief complaint - convulsions that started 1 month after the last Gardisil immunization (in the US it might be called something different, but its the HPV vaccine). The convulsions were quite different when they started compared to how they are now because of course we've intervened with natural remedies. When they started they were frequent - daily, sometimes more than one a day with the basic picture of belladonna and cuprum (we used those remedies initially with a great shift). Now the convulsions occur every 9-10 days but they occur in a cluster. There isn't any particular aura now. However they are now very violent - she doesn't recall anything, her body is blazing hot, and the convulsions are so intense that she is very sore and dislocates hips and shoulders. We suspected some heavy metal toxicity - so we did a doctors data urine toxins and essential elements test. She was high in lead - extremely high. Everything else is fine. For the essential elements she is high in Cu, low in Mb. She is anemic which follows that potentially lead is the cause of the anemia. So I'm looking for some guidance on the next step. I'm not sure that I want to get into oral chelation - if there is another way to get lead out of the body I'm game, but maybe oral chelation is the only way. We have done a lot of liver and kidney drainage, tried to reduce EMF, supported adrenals, BTGs, and I've used single remedies here and there to address the convulsion 'picture'. She doesn't sleep well and sweats a LOT. Its better, but still part of the case. I am desperate to help this young girl. She is highly intelligent and such a gem of a person. Yet, conventional medicine has severely let her down. They think the convulsions are psychiatric in nature, which I think couldn't be further from the truth. Thanks in advance for the help, clinical pearls and expert guidance, Kate Hazlitt ND Goderich ON Canada
