Self Intro-Amelia in Billings, MT

Hi everyone! So glad to be a part of the list. We are living our dream

of homesteading, which includes raising most of our food ourselves. We

currently have dairy goats and are anxiously awaiting kidding so we

can have milk again. I wasnt thrilled with what we froze but am hoping

to stagger breeding next year so we dont have such a dry spell.

My children never had any other milk besides nursing and my experience

with milk growing up was always powdered skim. I wanted to have dairy

goats for many years and finally live where we can do that. The kids

just need coaxing to drink milk that has cooled off but other than

that, they really enjoy it.

Not much of an intro tonight, we are struggling with a furnace that

doesnt want to work and its really REALLY cold!! Going to go snuggle

up and read to everyone! I will write more tomorrow.
