Guest guest
HI Leah, I dont think it is possible to make beer, at least taste good, withoug yeast. SOme home brews use sugar to ferment, but I still think it may have yeast. I have been gluten free for a while and have only found one gluten free beer to be any good, Red Bridge by Anheiser Busch, and its great! They use Sorghum instead. But other sorghum beers are aweful. Guest guest
You can't make beer without yeast. Yeast is what converts the sugars into ethanol. You CAN get gluten-free beers however. Also, wine, most hard ciders, and mead is gluten-free. Also most distilled alcohols really don't have any gluten (or yeast) left in them after the distillation process. Some people say they still react to it in these things, but I have a feeling its more reacting to the alcohol. Guest guest
I agree, probably can't be made without yeast. But, in terms of good Gluten Free beer, I really like Green's. Amy Chadwick, ND Palmer, AK
