yippy my chip arrived but it's small

Today I received my first chip for the heart of my project and I have forgotten

how small these suckers are! I will need to get my glasses and a magnifying

glass out. Maybe I will have to get a new soldering iron and resting bench too!

To give you a idea it has 16 legs, 2 legs would fit on a pin head. It is less

than 9mm long and 5mm wide including the legs. For those who have worked with

555 timers before it would very easily fit well within the top of the timer. It

makes the rest on the electronics look like monsters.

Back to the grindstone!
