I have had a >problem with dehydration, even with drinking water, I have dry mouth >at night. The problem is you are not drinking enough water. Increase your water intake and you will find yourself feeling better. Without enough water to carry the toxins out of your system, you'll just be recycling them, which increases the symptoms. Headaches in particular are a water lack. It should be plain water; anything else causes the body to have to work hard and generate heat. The one thing you can add is a pinch of " natural salt " , which is not regular salt nor sea salt. Here's what I've written previously: >The body must have plain water for proper hydration. Anything else you >drink, fruit juice, sodas, tea, coffee, whatever, in order for the body to >get at the water portion, the body has to do work to separate it. That >work requires energy, and that energy creates heat in the body, requiring >cooling. So, drinks that are not pure water do not replace water in the >body and may actually take water from the body to be metabolized, just as >food does. > >So drinking lots of plain water is a necessity for good health. Something >I learned here that has helped a lot is to put a pinch of whole salt in >your water-- makes it taste good and helps retain the water. But it must >be WHOLE salt. Whole salt is not stripped of its trace minerals and will >be pink or grey in color-- Redmond Real Salt, Celtic sea salt, Himalayan >sea salt, etc. What is commonly called sea salt has been bleached and >stripped and is NOT whole, and definitely the stuff in the boxes at the >supermarket is not whole salt. > >Stripped salt can cause mineral imbalances because it only has sodium >instead of the range of minerals the body needs, which is why people have >to watch their salt intake and why it causes problems. Whole salt's >mineral profile matches our blood's mineral profile, so it can be ingested >without imbalancing our minerals. Minerals are more important to health >than vitamins are. Without minerals, vitamins can't be utilized by the body. > >Link for info: ><http://www.curezone.com/foods/saltcure.asp>http://www.curezone.com/foods/saltc\ ure.asp >Can these probiotic drinks help with kidney or bladder >infections? Yes. But if you don't drink enough water, it can be irritating. --V ~~~ There is no way to peace; peace is the way ~~~~ --A.J. Muste
Guest guest
Thank you, I think you are right, I didn't have headache or other symptoms yesterday just making myself have water throughout the day. I thought that other liquids and foods contributed to hydration, but pure h20 is what I needed. I will try some of that unrefined salt when I can get some though, is there any reasonably priced seller that you know of? Thank you for a headache-less day , 3jsmom31

Guest guest
The nearest health food store is about 75 miles so it will be a treck when I go get it, but there are some other things I wanted to check on in the " Big City " . Luckily I can find most things reasonably online. Does anyone know if the scoby produced in a sealed jug (on the finished kt) is the same as the one formed in the brewing containers? Wondered about the role the air played. I hope this finds everyone well... 3jsmom31
