Guest guest
Heard from an L & D friend that there's a nationwide unavailability and backorder for injectible Vit. K, Stadol and Mag Sulfate, and a very low supply of Pitocin and Xylocaine! Wow! What are you using as replacements? Guest guest
Again with vit K?? We used oral for a short while a few months ago. It's actually kinda nice to not give the newborns a shot right away, but it means the parents had to bring them back at a week old for another dose and breasted babies were supposed to get 2 additional doses I believe.. I can only imagine how few will get the follow ups like they should!
Guest guest
Why can't the parents get a prescription at discharge to get the Vit K from the drug store?
