Sounds like you need to focus more on the gut. I don't know about the

AI dz theory - but I do know he's " auto intoxicating " . 8 yrs of

constipation plus best days on replete = major dysbiosis and toxicity.

Moving the bowels and recolonizing the gut (and work on other

emunctories - how are hi kidneys?) must be the priority before liver

- or else he'll just keep re-circulating waste and toxins. Also, a

CDSA with parasitology seems very important here. Has he had any

endoscopy/colonoscopy? My two cents.

I think you are totally right to focus on liver GI, don't worry about nervous system right now, it seems a more minor problem, he has just probably learned to accept his skin problems especially if they have been going on for a while and he has had no luck treating them. I don't think autoimmune or virus either, but certainly his immune system needs balancing too, but I would start with the emunctories and maybe rule out some food sensitivities for now. I am not sure how strong the link is, but skin tags seem to indicate blood sugar pro blems, but again don't worry about this yet, as long as he eats regularly and well.
