Guest guest
One more thing-- make sure you get exercise. The WD takes a few weeks to transition to, but is much easier, and more effective, if the undereating phase is accompanies by exercise. And weight lifting should, over time, get rid of your blood sugar problems. Chris
Guest guest
Katja exclaims, " you there in the hat - step away from the bulky roll! " Deanna blabbers - Be careful, the one in the hat might think you're calling her/him a " bulky roll " hee hee. Katja reports - i've been warrior dieting for a week . .. yesterday when i weighed myself, i'd gained 2 pounds!! not only that, but i fainted yesterday, which i haven't been doing since, ya know, i've been well-nourished. (when i was a kid and had... " issues " ...i used to Deanna says - Hmmm, is this a blood sugar thingy? I wouldn't know, of course, but it seems possible with the one meal a day only philosophy. And you are nursing too, aren't you? Change it up if it is not working, and by all means, seek professional help if it continues. I like your new law of conservation of posts. :-) take care. Guest guest
Hi Katja. I just wanted to convey that the foods you are eating during the day are carbohydrates pretty exclusively, except for the nuts which have some fat and protein. Also, it is almost fasting all day, correct? I felt really wacked out and loopy in the afternoons on the all raw vegan diet (high carb like it on not). I eat good protein sources with every meal now and I feel much more normal and my energy is pretty constant throughout the day. Also, have you ever had your blood sugar tested? I am not giving medical advice about what might be going on with you, but please read what Dr. Mercola says on insulin, carbohydrates and especially hypoglycemia. Search his site for all sorts of goodies, here's one recent article: http://www.mercola.com/2004/jan/3/carbohydrates_age.htm Best Regards, Deanna i think it must be. i'd like to continue to give the warrior diet a go, at least for another week. today i've tried to graze a little bit more consistantly and i've felt much better. i ate WAY more than the prescribed " handful " of nuts this morning, in a slow but steady stream. also 3 small apples, some tea, some sadly un-organic veggies and some also sadly un-organic salad greens. and water and tea. and a glass of raw milk.... -katja
